Ten City – Foundation (Album & Maxis)

Das Debüt Album „Foundation“ mit zahlreichen Club-Hits (Right Back To You, Devotion und That’s The Way Love Is) – Übersicht über die Maxis zum Album ’87-89

Über die Gründung von Ten City

Marshall Jefferson erinnert sich:

I met Byron Stingily down at Trax records. He’d sang lead on a song called „Funny Love“ by Dezz 7.
I loved the words and found out he wrote them. From there we started working on songs together…

Marshall Jefferson

Aus der Zusammenarbeit entstand Byron Stingily’s Song „Just a little Bit“ [Video] (Veröffentlicht auf dem Sampler Jack Trax-The Third Album)

That’s the Way Love is – Original Video

Bryon Burke über die Entstehung des Hits „That’s The Way Love Is“:

One weekend in June of 1987, he [Marshall Jefferson] allowed me to take all his equipment home. I was so excited, I locked myself in the room and tried out some song Ideas I had running around my head. That weekend I created the foundation “Ten City’s” biggest commercial hit called “That’s The Way Love Is” and “Whatever Makes You Happy” that was later released in 1990 on Atlantic Records.
