Nach den Erfahrungen mit DJ International beschloss Chris Westbrook, sein eigenes Label Westbrook Records zu gründen, um die Kontrolle über seine Arbeit zu behalten.
Der erste Titel auf seinem Label war „Feel the Beat“. Das Label veröffentlichte 1987 noch Songs von Armando und Mike Dunn (siehe Tabelle unten).

1988 Give it to me
Mit „Give it to me“ hatte Bam Bam einen House Hit, der auch in UK sehr populär war und am 19.03.88 Platz 65 der UK Singles Charts erreichte.
Auf dem UK Label Serious Records erschien der Song als 7″ Single und in verschiedenen Remix Versionen.
Wenn man sich das Cover ansieht, erwartet man eher Musik im Stil von Prince. Das ist wahrscheinlich kein Zufall, denn Chris war ein Prince Fan und seine erste gekaufte Platte war das Album „Controversy“ von Prince. [Quelle: Testpressing]
