Über das Album „On Top of the World“ vom Projekt The It von Larry Heard und Harry Dennis und Diskografie der Jahre 1986-90.

Zwei Jahre nach dem grandiosen Album „Another Side“ von Larry Heards Gruppe Fingers Inc., hat Larry (Mr. Fingers) zusammen mit Harry Dennis, der bereits auf „Distant Planet“ von Fingers Inc. die Spoken Words beisteuerte, ein zeitloses Deep-Soul-House-Album geschaffen.
Die Anfänge von The It gehen auf den Song „Donnie“ zurück, der 1986 auf DJ International erschien und direkt auf den Klassiker „Mystery of Love“ von Fingers Inc. folgte.
