Megamixes (DJ International und Trax)
Das deutsche Label BCM Records hat mehrere Megamixe mit Titeln von DJ International und Trax Records veröffentlicht. Hier ein Überblick der Megamixe und Infos zu den verwendeten Songs.
Megamix (Vol. 1)
Der erste DJ International Megamix von 1987 hat mit „Love can’t turn Around“ und „Jack your Body“ zwei Top-Hits des neues Genres House Music „untergemischt“ und dadurch aufmerksam gemacht auf die weiteren tollen Songs. Die 12“ erschien in einer schönen aufklappbaren Hülle (Gatefold).
Viele Titel sind auch auf dem Sampler „The House Sound of Chicago Vol.1“ erschienen.

Das Label BCM Records hatte viel Aufwand betrieben mit den Megamixes. (siehe Gatefold-Cover oben). Bei dieser Release, der Special Collector’s Edition, wurden die beiden zuvor erschienen Megamixes hier vereint als Picture Disc mit jeweils zwei Mix-Versionen.

Megamix Vol. 2 „House Strikes Again“
Der zweite „House Sound of Chicago“ Megamix erschien 1989 als Gatefold 12“ und CD.
In dem Zuge wurde kurz nach der Veröffentlichung von dem Megamix Vol.2, der erste Megamix (Vol.1) und der Chicago Trax Mix erstmalig* als CD veröffentlicht.
